I’m Troy Guerrero, founder of Interactive Security Technologies (IST) in Tempe, Arizona. I started as an installation and service technician, later moving into management roles with alarm companies in Southern California.

From there, I transitioned into sales engineering and became a regional sales manager for major security companies. Tired of being downsized, outsourced, and eliminated, I decided to take my destiny into my own hands and create my OWN mission by launching IST.

The first step was to create a corporate value system, which I did by hiring my son and making him my apprentice. Despite early challenges, the collaboration strengthened both our relationship and the business.
